There is very little today that we can trust in times of trouble. Buildings will collapse in earthquakes, home can get cold and damp without heat and adequate sunlight, and no health care system and real us and restore us. It is only the Lord who can be our refuge and strength in every situation. Knowing him and his great power means we are still so that we can know him and his goodness towards us. Psalm 46 is a song that allows us to express this belief in God and the salvation we know through his son, Jesus Christ.
