Throughout Scripture we not only read of God’s people in prayer, but we are commanded to pray. In prayer we demonstrate what we believe about God and his sovereign will, as well as knowing our relationship with him strengthened. The command to God’s people to be a people of prayer should be taken seriously and enjoyed. As we approach the Life at the Crossroads mission from 10 to 18 May 2025 we are forming Prayer Triplets. These prayer groups are to gather together each week to bring before the Lord the things that our on our hearts. A Prayer Triplet guide is available to download and printed copies are available in the Meeting House and from the Church Office.
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Through the Presbytery of Newry, we support the work of mission at home and overseas. The Cowan family have been serving in Kenya for over two decades and continue to reach out to the Samburu people around Tuum.
Rev Kenny Hanna works more locally as the Rural Chaplain. Kenny can be found in sales markets, Young Farmer’s Club and at county shows (during the summer months). His work is to support our rural communities in all aspects of farming life.
