Psalm 48 celebrates the greatness of the Lord and the city of Jerusalem as the place where God dwells. This psalm tells us that God’s presence in Jerusalem brings security and joy to His people, and it calls on worshipers to share these truths with future generations. Ultimately, it points to the worldwide spread of God’s praise and the triumph of the gospel in Christ.
